So, then, this promise is a better -looking, better driving, more and more capable, long distance and fast charging EV. It looks like a winning condition, but Mercedes still has a hedge. I didn’t just run the CLA of electricity in Sweden. I too had to go to the 48 -volt hybrid version.
Yes, you have a new CLA even if you are still not riding with the EV revolution. It is built around a 1.5 L -Cylinder engine that is folded with an electric motor, which is connected with eight speeds, double clutch transmission. Engine production is ranked 188 HP (140 kW) as well as an additional 27 HP (20 kW) from the electric motor.
It is enough to drive the car 62 miles per hour (100 km per hour) without rotating the petrol engine, but with its only 1.3 kW battery, you will not go too far without combustion. Mercedes also does not refer to the all -electric range. The engine comes quickly and often.
In fact, during my time behind the wheel, I could not get off the engine to turn off. Engineers blamed the temperature from the bottom. So, I cannot say how clear the car would be without internal combustion. With this four cylinders, the car was reasonably clear, transmission was easily slippery through gears. However, the straight power is certainly on the limited side. Anyone who cares about the acceleration should go to another CLA, one of which is a large battery.
Mercedes -Benz can be the winner here with the new CLA.
I got a good look at the interior of both cars, but sadly I am not yet allowed to talk about it. It is enough to say that it contains some taste and practical changes that should be received well. It is coming more.
Will the new CLA Mercedes change the fate of the benz? Early comments are really good. If it looks like half like this concept, it provides the promise of the range, and its price is correct, then it should be the winner.
