A new version of Toyota’s most sold RAV4 crossover debuted last night. For Generation Six, Toyota, along with hybrid and plug -in hybrid power trains, is running all the electrifoids. And while the RAV4 is not a software -defined vehicle because we understand the term, it has a new software platform that binds everything together.
Toyota groups different RAV4 settings in three groups: core, wear and games. And there are three different options for the power train: Front Wheel Drive Hybrid, All Wheel Drive Hybrid, and All -Wheel Drive PhEV, though some are only available in some sequences.
The Front Wheel Drive Hybrid RAV4S contains 226 HP (168 kW) 2.5L engine, which offers a slight increase in the All -Wheel Drive Hybrid Model 236 HP (176 kW). PHEV has developed a joint 320 HP (239 kW), and Toyota says it can be 50 miles (80 km) on the same charge.
Better performance is a part of the adoption of more efficient silicon carbide inverters, though the battery has also increased capacity. Even some terms (Woodland, XSE) offer even the ability to charge PHEV, which Toyota says, it takes 30 minutes to 10-80 % of the charge.
