Apple on Tuesday faced an important weakness of zero day in all iPhones and iPad models that it supports and said it has been exploited using the old version of the iOS.

The risk, which is tracked as CV-2025-24201, is in the web kit, the browser engine driving safari and all other browsers are manufactured for iPhones and iPads. The affected devices include iPhone XS and later, iPad Pro 13 inch, iPad Pro 12.9 inch third generation and later, iPad Pro 11 -inch first generation and later, iPad Air third generation and later, iPad 7th Generation and later, and iPad Money 5th Generation and later. This danger is from a problem that has written in the outside of the memory.

Side fix

Apple wrote in bare bones, “Impact: Malicious web content can be able to eliminate web content.” Consultation. “This is an additional fix for an attack that was blocked in iOS 17.2. (Apple is aware of a report that the issue has been exploited in a very sophisticated attack against specific target persons on the iOS version before iOS 17.2.)

The advisory did not say whether the danger was discovered by any of its researchers or outside the company. This attribution often indicates who carried out the attacks and who targeted the attacks. The advisory did not even say when the attacks started or how long they continued.

The update brings the latest version of both iOS and iPados to 18.3.2. Consumers facing the biggest threat are potentially those who are well -fed law enforcement agencies or national state spies. They should install an update immediately. Although there is no indication that the threat against the wider set of users is being exploited on the spot, it is a good process to install updates within 36 hours of available.
