Gemini 2.0 is also coming into deep research, Google’s AI tool that produces detailed reports on a title or question. This tool browses the web on your behalf, and takes its time to collect the reaction. The new Gemini 2.0 -based version will show its work as it collects data, and Google claims that the final product will be of high quality.

You don’t need to take a Google word on it – you can try it for yourself, even if you do not pay for advanced AI features. Google is making deep research free, but it’s not infinite. The company says everyone will be able to do a deeper research “a few times a month” without price. We are getting all this details, so don’t be crazy with deep research yet.

Finally, Google is also producing jewelry in free accounts. Gems are like custom chat boats that you can set up with a particular task in mind. Google has some defaults, such as a learning coach and a brain storm, but you can find and do anything (in the limits set by Google LLC and applicable rules).

Some new free features require a lot of in conference processing, which is not cheap. Freeing its most expensive models, even on a limited basis, will undoubtedly increase Google’s AI losses. No one has yet estimated making money on Generative AI, but it seems that the Google markets spend more and more money to secure the share.
