One of the books I read for my formal education, from a thin paperback, has deepened in my mind.
William Blendels The art and deer of the feature writing Offers “selected list of readers’ choice.” It begins with a final number 1: “The dog, followed by other beautiful animals and young children with good behavior.” People write, Blendel, your second best option, provided they are doing or saying something interesting.
I have failed to provide a dog story to ARS Technica’s readers for almost three years here. Today, I plan to fix it. This is a story about a dog, but it is also a rare hopeful “smart” product, which helped a good girl.
Note: The photos contained in this post are not the above dogs, to protect their owner’s privacy. Human Rescue Alliance Washington, DC, provided pictures of some matching dogs with the dog.
Hello, the stranger
Me and my wife were sitting with my dog on the front porch recently. We were drinking coffee, reading, and enjoying the DC’s small window for the spring season. I went in for a moment. When I returned, my dog was inside, but I didn’t have a wife. In confusion, I opened the door to look outside. A dog, not my own, he trapped his nose in the door difference, I am desperate to smell.
“Is there a dog here?” My wife partially said to himself. “She just ran on the porch. I don’t know where she came from.”

I saved my dog from the inside, then went out to meet this fast but friendly interlipper. He had a collar, but there was no strap, and he looked well, healthy and lightly. The caller had a silicone band on it, with Apple’s air tag down. I pulled out the air tag, tapped it against my phone, and nothing happened.
When my wife posted various social outlets in our neighborhood (Facebook, Next indoor, and the WhatsApp group for quick neighbors), I went to the garage and caught one CR2032 battery. It’s not everyone has anything, but I have some air tags too A little bit of domestic automation habit. After pressing something, twisting, and ReplaceAir tag returned to BAP and service.
