A Federal Judge has provided access to the US Treasury Payment System to employees of the Department of Government (DOGE) as long as they meet the training and testing requirements, but refuses the Trump administration’s movement to completely dissolve the preliminary order.
New York District Judge Janet Vergas is overseeing the case filed against President Trump by 19 states led by New York. In February, Vargas released A preliminary order to prohibit the Department of Treasury from giving access to DEGE to a system of personal information or confidential financial information.
In April, Vergas Allowed Dage employee Ryan Wandli Department of Treasury’s Bureau of Fully Services (BFS) to access the system, after an official declaration, “Wondeli has done the same scrutiny and security clearance that provides access to the BFS payment system.” One in Total orderVergas ruled that four more employees could access the system.
“The problem before the court is a narrow. The parties agree that, in the light of this court pie [Preliminary Injunction] The order of the amendment, new Dodge employees, should be allowed to access the BFS payment system on the same terms as Wondli wrote.
The court will not get new services
In addition, the Trump administration can include more Dodge team members without the court’s advance approval. “Each time you ride a new team member, there is little utility in doing this court as a Treasury De Facto Human Resource Officer,” Vergas said.
