The Dating app is laying 13 % of its staff as part of the match group reorganization, which aims to reduce costs, make margins on the coast and smooth its organizational structure.
According to its annual filing, 2,500 employees will affect about 32 325 employees, based on the match. Open roles are also being closed.
The company said the reorganization aims to reduce the administrative layers, which affected one in five managers, and give key functions a central position-including technology and data services, customer care and content moderation, buying media, and international-going market work.
Spencer Raskov, who came to the board as CEO in February, said in a statement that the move aims to help run the match as a company, not brands that are managed independently. The match is the main company of several famous dating apps, including Tender, Hung, Match.com, Matic, Okocype, occupation, plenty of fish and our time.
Raskov said in a statement that deduction and reorganization will help to save 100 million (annual) in 2025 and about $ 45 million in 2025.
The match also said that the first quarter revenue decreased from 3 % to $ 831.2 million compared to a year ago, which reduced the number of consumers paying for service or purchase by 5 %. Net profit fell 4.6 percent year to $ 117.6 million years.
