In February, Elon Musk defeated the Department of Treasury to lack the “basic control” to stop paying terrorist organizations, and arrogant at the Oval Office that “any company” had the control.
Three months fast forward, and now Musk’s social media platform X is suspected to be paying for approved terrorists and provides premium properties, making it easier to collect funds and spread propaganda. Apparently, groups benefiting from X include Houthi rebels, Hezbollah, and Hamas, as well as Syria, Kuwait and Iran groups. Some accounts have collected hundreds of thousands of followers, and paid to increase their access, while X is apparently visible in another way.
A Report Released on Thursday, the Tech Transparency Project (TTP) flagged the popular accounts associated with apparently US -approved terrorists. Some accounts contain “ID certified” seeds, which show that X is going against its own policies that ban the approved terrorists from taking advantage of its platform.
According to the TTP, even more troubled, “a number of use of the tax generating features offered by X, including a button for indicators.”
On X, premium consumers pay $ 8 or $ 84 annually, and premium+ consumers pay $ 40 or $ 395 a year. Certified organizations pay between $ 200 and $ 1,000 per month for premium+access, or up to $ 10,000 annually. These subscriptions come with facilities, allowing suspected terrorist accounts to share long text and video posts, offer users compensation content, create communities, accept gifts and increase their propaganda.
The disturbing thing is that the TTP found that X’s chat boot guru also helps with the White Wash accounts associated with approved terrorists.
In its report, TTP notes that an account with the handle is “Hasmocarded” – which is apparently related to “a major Hezbollah mini exchanger”, “Hassan clicked – at one point was a blue checkmark with 60,000 followers. Although the Department of Treasury has agreed to expand their efforts to expand them. Clicking on the Eye Profile Summary button, it seems that they rely on their posts on Mockel’s own posts and their followers, and that’s why they make appreciation.
