Posted on May 29, 2025

The next version of Android is expected to hit Pixel phones in June, but it will take longer to see the new OS for other manufacturers’ devices. However, Samsung is making an extraordinary good time in this cycle. The owners of the company Galaxy S. 25 phones The new open beta program can take an early look at an UI 8 (based on Android 16). Samsung has promised a lot of upgrades, but it may not feel like this.

Signing up for the son is a snap – just open the Samsung members app, and the beta signup should be fixed on the main landing page. From there, the OTA update should appear on your device within a few minutes. It is very heavy at 3.4GB, but the installation is fast, and you should not affect any data. That said, backup is always advised when using beta software.

Joining a son You should be in the United States, Germany, Korea, or the UK, and US phones should be unlock or T -Mobile variations. The software is compatible with Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 ultra. S25 Edge No need to apply (for now)

Of Samsung Large pitch Can’t resonate with everyone here: More AI. However, what it means is a bit confused about it. The company claims that an UI 8 “multi -modal capabilities, UX brings according to various device form factors, and personal, active tips”. After using the new OS for a few hours, it does not seem that the implementation of Samsung’s AI has changed a lot.

The Galaxy S25 series now launches with a feature called the brief, as well as a fellow widget named now. The idea is that this interface will find your data, it will privately take action within the Samsung Knox Enclave, and spit useful tips. For most parts, this does not happen. Although Samsung says that an UI 8 will now allow more personal, customized insights, it seems that they work a handful of work before. It is plugged in many Samsung apps and data sources, but mostly only shows weather information, calendar events, and news articles that you may not care about. Now there were some indicators of the next audio version of the briefing, but it is not included in the son.
