On Thursday, Openai announced to include purchasing features Chat GPT Looking. The new feature allows users to find products and buy through merchant websites after being redirected from the Chat GPT interface. Product Placement is not supported, and this update affects all users, regardless of whether they have signed in to an account.

Unlike Google’s algorithm based on product recommendations, Chat GPT allegedly tries to understand product reviews and user preferences in a more conversation manner. If someone mentions that they prefer black clothing from specific retailers in the chat, the system includes these priorities in the future purchase recommendations.
