As far as non -AI features are concerned, satellite messaging will spread to the new pixel drop. The Pixel 9 series contains a handful of phones that contain satellite contacts. When you are out of cellular coverage, a pixel phone can contact synchronized satellite networks to seek emergency support. This feature used to live only in the continent of America, but now it is coming to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Cooperation for the features of the carrier satellite is also spreading. At the launch, Pixels only used Google’s own satellite SOS system, which is being provided free of charge for the first two years. New Pixel Drop will add as an auxiliary carrier for Verizon and T -Mobile Satellite messaging.
The Pixel 9 family will also get a new video recording trick. After installing a Pixel drop update, you will be able to connect a pixel with another pixel or a pro -camera to record the video from two different angles. Google says it will make mobile recording look more professional and increase the shooting options. However, if you use Go Pro, it only works with the 2021 Go Hero 10 Black or New, and app support is limited to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, T -TaTok and Snap Chat.
Something for all
Even if you don’t have a pixel phone, Google has some good waiting for you. These features are currently in supported Android phones, including pixels.
The AI scam detection feature from Pixel phones will be available to all Android devices in all limited form. If someone is trying to penetrate you into the text in the Google Messages app, the AI will be able to recognize it (possibly) and warn you, just as Pixel 6 to 8. However, only Pixel 9 phones contain phone call scam alerts.
