It is worth explaining that AI models did not produce the pictures used in the study. Instead, the researchers used famous, pre -existing meme templates, and GPT -4 or human participants prepared the title for them.
No more memes, better memes
When the crowded participants ranked the memes, those who were fully created by AI models scored more than on average in humor, creativity and sharing.
